茨城県日立市にある日立港・その最も北に位置する港である「久慈港」というポイント。
北側には久慈浜海水浴場がありその駐車場・トイレを利用できる他、北側から長く伸びる赤灯堤防の路肩内にも駐車ができ、車釣行派としてはアクセスしやすい場所になっています。
主に投げ釣りでのカレイ・イシモチ狙い、その他、ウキ釣り・フカセ釣りでのクロダイ狙いがメインの場所になっていますが、港内の岸壁でも6～7mほどの水深があり、サビキ釣りでのアジ・イワシも6月ごろから狙うことができます。
堤防先端は特に潮通しが良く魚種・魚影ともに恵まれており、人気の場所になっている他、外海側を向いたテトラポット上の釣り場もそこまで高さが無いため釣りは可能。
ただし、港内は係留中の船が多数あるため、投釣り等する際はトラブルにならないように最新の注意を払いましょう。

赤灯堤防の先端にあるポイント。
ここではウキフカセによるクロダイがメインのポイントですが、クロダイの他に「鯛」つながりでマダイ・イシダイも釣果に加わってきます。
ダンゴ釣りではカイズを狙うことができ、9月頃からシーズンを迎えます。
投釣りではカレイ・アイナメを狙うことができ、6月からはイシモチが釣れてきます。
サビキ釣りでのアジ・イワシは7-9月頃がメインで毎年回遊の次第によって釣果が変わります。サバ皮・ピンクスキンのサビキは多数常備をしておきたい。

港内堤防・先端付近に位置するポイント。
広々とした岸壁上の場所になるため足場がよくファミリーフィッシングに適したポイントです。
サビキ釣りでのアジ・サバは7月頃から、ブラクリを使用したヘチ釣りでアイナメ・カサゴ・ソイなどを狙うことができます。
10-11月が最盛期となるカレイ・ハゼ狙いは基本置き竿で待ちの姿勢を貫き、サビキとのハイブリッドで釣行時間を楽しむことがおすすめ。

赤灯堤防の中腹付近でちょうどその場所だけ外海側のテトラが積まれていない地点のポイント。
ウキ釣りのクロダイの実績が高く、40cm近くの良型を期待することができます。
ただし、海面までの距離がありますので、玉網の準備をお忘れなく。
夏から秋の終盤にかけてイナダ・カンパチなどの青物を狙うことができます。30～50gのメタルジグを遠投し青物とのファイトも挑戦してみたい。
